Start with what
you have.

A digital file, a drawing, an existing component or an idea. We can agree the right route for your project.

01

Print from your file

Have an STL file ready? Get it reviewed for print suitability, then receive a quote for your one-off print or small batch.

STL files · One-offs · Repeat prints
02

Custom CAD design

Turn sketches, measurements and drawings into a 3D model, or make practical changes to an existing design.

Brackets · Enclosures · Custom parts
03

Reverse engineering

Need to recreate a component? Start with photographs and dimensions, then discuss measurement, modelling and a test print.

Replacement components · Fit checks
04

Prototypes & small batches

Explore a design in physical form, check its fit, refine the details or produce a small run of an agreed part.

Prototyping · Workshop aids · Small runs

A FEW STARTING POINTS

Small parts.
Practical possibilities.

Examples of enquiries to discuss—not a catalogue of previous customer projects. Each part is reviewed for its intended use.

Personal & custom projects

One-off designs, personalised items, models and small creative projects.

02 / STRAIGHTFORWARD STARTING PRICES

Know where
your quote starts.

Every job is checked before a price is agreed. These starting rates help you plan; the final quote reflects the design, material, quantity and finishing needed.

GOOD TO KNOW

Before you send
your project.

I don’t have a 3D file. Can you help?

Yes. Send a sketch, photographs, a drawing or dimensions, together with an explanation of the intended use. CAD design and reverse engineering are quoted separately from printing.

What materials can we discuss?

PLA and PETG are starting points for many enquiries. The material, colour and print approach depend on the part’s use and current availability. Tell me about heat, outdoor exposure, loading and fit requirements before a quote is agreed.

Can you make replacement parts?

Suitable plastic components can be considered from an existing part, drawing or dimensions. Each enquiry is reviewed individually. A printed replacement must be suitable for the application; safety-critical or regulated parts require specialist assessment.

Can I order more than one?

Yes. One-off projects and small batches are welcome. Include the quantity in your enquiry so the design, print arrangement and any bulk discount can be assessed together.

How long will it take?

Timing depends on design work, print duration, material availability and current workload. Tell me your preferred date and I’ll confirm an achievable schedule in the quotation.

Do we need a phone call?

No. Enquiries, questions, quotations and project approvals can be handled by email. Send the information you have and I’ll reply with any details needed to prepare a quote.

LET’S START WITH YOUR IDEA

“Could you
make this?”

That’s a good place to start. Send what you have and we’ll work out the next step by email.
